Imke's Birthday

Dear reader,

Today it's my turn to tell you about our adventures here in Malta. Today it's Imke's 21st birthday, so I woke up, wished her a happy birthday, got out of bed, got ready in a rush (as I always do it seems) and was just about to grab my laptop and go to work, when I remembered that I didn't take my iPod with me. As I can't survive without music, I started looking for it all over the house. I finally left, five minutes later than planned, but still on time. When I got to work, our boss was already explaining the ins and outs of Euro Tours to two new students who had just arrived from Ireland. Then Ms. De Witte arrived, and talked to our boss for a while, because he'll be leaving to the Holy Land on Tuesday. So this was pretty much our end evaluation and everyone seemed very satisfied about us. The rest of the day was pretty slow. Since there still was some work to do on the brochure, almost everyone left to the designer. Thanks to Anna, a very kind staff member, and our boss, we could go home at 3.30 pm. Annelies went to Valletta, to meet up with Freya, while I went home, relaxed for the rest of the afternoon and watched 'Alice in Wonderland' an 'Fantastic Mr. Fox'. Then Annelies, Freya and Imke came home and we ate some home-made hotdog's. After that, we relaxed some more and ate the birthday pie that Freya had ordered. Everyone from upstairs and Ms de Witte were here too.

That was my day so far and now we're getting ready to go out and have some drinks to further celebrate Imke's birthday. Maybe we'll go party after wards, but then Freya will tell you all about our escapades tomorrow. Now Ik have to run, because everyone is almost ready and I still haven't started.
