Like Kevin yesterday told we went today to Gozo. We all got really happy in the bus because the sun was shining. When we all got in the bus we started to put sunblock on so we didn’t got burned. After that Mr. Smolderen started with his tour trough Gozo. We stopped somewhere in Gozo and started our city walk. We went to the citadelle of Gozo, but to get there first we had to walk a steep road al the way to the top. We finally reached the top where we saw a beautiful sight, from there we could see all Gozo and also how little the island was. After that we walked further and went to a cathedral where we unfortunately couldn’t enter because off the dress code. So we got further with our city walk and went all the way downstairs. Once we got down it was already past 12 so we went to eat something in a restaurant that is owned by Belgian people. An hour later we payed and got all to the bus again and got further to the most beautiful place in Gozo, that is called ‘The Window’. The Window is a sort of table-like rock over the sea. First Mr. Smolderen told us a little bit about it and after that a few of us got up the rock. Tristan, Kevin, myself, Irina, Mvr. De Witte and Mr. Smolderen went up there were we took a few picture of us with the beautiful sight. After staying there 15 minutes we went back down and left to the boat where we had to wait an hour to get finally on the boat. At 18:30Hrs we reached our hotel and prepared something to eat. After diner we rest until we had to prepare us to go out! Tomorrow Charis will tell you about another day of our long and fun month here in Malta. This will be coming exceptionally from Belgium.
Greeting from Malta,
Lorena
Dear Katrijn, Hans and 6TT
BeantwoordenVerwijderenTo be honest, I am (a little bit) envious not to have seen Gozo. Seeing those sunny pictures of a green island with a lot of nature while here in Belgium we got heavy rain at the moment; it's quite a difference! How was it 'Chez Armand'? When I called him last week, he seemed to be a very kind person and very pleased that we would come. Unfortunately I missed the boat to Gozo and lunch chez Armand. Maybe next year???
Have a good time there in Malta and realize that you are halfway!!!!!!!
many greetings
An
Beste Maltezers,
groetjes
