They didn't want it good, they wanted it Wednesday.
- Robert A. Heinlein
Dear reader,
Before I get to my actual blog, I'd like to tell you that today was the day I realised we'd be going back soon. I was taking the bus this morning, and it suddenly hit me between two of my favorite songs. We're going back soon.
Okay so, with that said, today wasn't really anything special. Lorena and I woke up and got ready in somewhat of a hurry (as we do just about every day). Rani arrived at our door at 8.00 am, and we left a little while later. The traffic was utterly horrible, as any other day. We arrived at work and split up, as Lorena works downstairs while I work upstairs. It was a pretty slow day for me. I had to check the entrance fees in the upcoming summer brochure, as it has to be ready for AMITEX. This is Malta's national tourism fair, where just about every travel agency and tour operator is represented.
I also went to the bank with one of my collegues.
Lorena always leaves around 3 pm, and Kris (my supervisor) allowed me to go with her today. We got back at the hotel by 4.30 pm. As for the rest of the evening, I didn't really do anything special.
Since it's Freedom Day tomorrow, some of us have decided to go out today, but I think I'm going to skip this time.
And that was about it for today. I hope I didn't bore you too much and tomorrow you'll get another update.
