Last but NOT least!

Today, Niki, Michiel and Saïna were the last three people of the class that had to guide us through their part of Malta. Niki was the first to start, with her guide tour at the Hal Saflieni Hypogeum. After that we had the chance to see the Hypogeum with our own eyes. It was a very nice experience for all of us. Then we went to the the temples of Hager Qim and Mnajdra, where Michiel told us a little bit more about them and their history/construction. It was something that we had never seen before. After seeing the prehistoric temples, we drove on to Ghar Dalam, Michiel's second subject. After a busy morning is was time to have some lunch. We had lunch at Marsaxlokk, where Niki told us a bit more about the fishing harbour afterwards. Then we went back to the minibus to visit the three cities, Vittoriosa, Cospicua & Senglea, where Niki did the last part of her guide tour. After that it was Saïna's turn to guide us. She told us more about the three cities, The Saint Laurentius Church, The Inquisitor's Palace, The Maritime Museum and the Malta at war museum. And that was our last excursion day.

That probably means that the next 2 weeks are going to fly very fast!

Today is also Ann's birthday. We decorated her room and bought her a delicious chocolate cake, that disappeared in no time! Later on we're all going to go out and celebrate. But for now, we still have a few hours to relax.

Greetz for Malta.

Rani
